We take great pride in the communitys we live and work in, therefore we try to have a positive impact whenever possible.
In order to understand our commitment, one must first understand the dynamics of the rural or farm communities in Nicaragua. On most Nicaraguan farms of ten hectares or more, of which there are roughly five thousand in the country, live small communities of an average of fifty families. Many families lived in these regions long before the inception of the farms, and have since relied on coffee as a source of income.
These communities receive little if any economic support from the Nicaraguan government, and must rely on their own labor to support their families. In some instances, these families have limited access to education, healthcare, and daily necessities most people take for granted, such as toiletries, electricity, clothing, and basic groceries.
